This hybrid role is based in Vancouver, with two days a week in the office and the rest remote.
Traction Complete is looking for an People Experience Generalist/Executive Assistant to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you act as a true partner to the CEO and Leadership Team. You’ll be their point person, helping them to prioritize and manage their workload. You’ll have a first hand look into all areas of the business. In addition, as the People Experience Generalist, you are the front line person for answering team member questions and building strong relationships throughout the company. You have a dynamic personality, enjoy autonomy, have excellent organizational and administrative skills, and bring fun and enthusiasm to every interaction

What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in a People & Culture, HR, or Administrative support role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth organization
- Thrives in a multi-hat role, with the flexibility to pivot between strategic projects and hands-on tasks
- Proactive and resourceful; comfortable working independently, making decisions, and seeing initiatives through with minimal direction
- Strong communicator (both verbal and written), able to adapt style to different audiences from executives to new hires
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with a sharp eye for detail and follow-through
- High degree of professionalism and discretion when working with diverse stakeholders, including executives, Board members, and employees
- Skilled at prioritizing and managing time effectively in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative team player who also enjoys driving projects forward autonomously
- Excited by the opportunity to help shape and improve processes as the organization grows
- Solid understanding of core Human Resources principles, practices, and processes
What You Will Be Doing
Executive Support 25%
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, and arranging/drafting meeting agendas, schedules and related documentation
- Serve as a liaison between executives, employees, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Support the planning and execution of company meetings, board meetings, and executive presentations
- Manage expense reports and invoices on a monthly basis
People & Culture 75%
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support
- Administer day-to-day HR operations including employee records, HRIS updates, compensation updates and documentation
- Facilitate employee on-boarding and off-boarding, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive experience
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions
- Organize and coordinate workplace events, including company-wide quarterly business reviews (QBRs), team events, volunteering opportunities and employee engagement initiatives
- Oversee logistics of co-working office space, including managing access, communicating entry procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for employees using the space
- Partner with managers to support performance management, feedback, and employee development initiatives
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, escalating issues appropriately, and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as engagement, recognition, DEI, and policy updates
- Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Help design, build, and support ongoing manager training programs to strengthen leadership capability
- Oversee recruitment while collaborating closely with senior leadership to drive a proactive and strategic approach to talent acquisition
Compensation
Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions. The starting salary band for this role is 85K - 95K commensurate with experience.
Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package includes additional components such as equity and benefits.
